We're Coco&Benny Vintage. You may remember us from such vintage moments as:

'I looked so good in that dress I got from your store, I got snapped by The Sartorialist, rocket hyped on lookbook, my whole my style went viral, and now I costume design for Sophia Coppola'

or

'I looked so awesome in that 80's leather dress you sent me, Joan Jett picked me out of the crowd to be her protégé (at that impromptu and intimate concert), and now I play air guitar to capacity rock stadiums'.

But if neither of those were you, they probably soon will be : )

Coco and Benny are Suzie + Reb(ekah), long time family friends and like minded vintage dress addicts. Alongside our silent tech partner Jon, we keep him busy, locked away like a christmas elf, writing code and baking treats.

We've always picked our way through markets, op-shops, car boot and garage sales, originally in inner Sydney, now seaside on the South Coast.

Jon and I swapped our Surry Hills view of Crown St, (and the neighbours' bathroom) for a vista of the Shoalhaven river. While Suzie swapped the Haberfield delicacies of La Disfida and Napoli in Boca, for locally caught fish and swimming on Culburra Beach, right outside her front door.

Vintage is in our genes. My Dad collected art deco furniture, old teapots and poker machines from the 1930's. He found us a working 3 metre neon sign to mount on the kitchen wall as a night light. My kiddy photo's are all in mum's vintage dresses, 30's nighties and 70's lace singlets, kindly donated to my dress up box, which I pinned, snipped and mud-pied my way into making them rags (gah if only I had them now).

Suzie started off at Paddy's market and then moved to a vintage shop, BellaBooms, in Balmain, Sydney for 6 years. She stocked amazing silks from the 30's and 40's, gorgeous 50's angora's and made her own range of shirts from vintage fabrics.

Her passion came from her mother, who was way before her time; a charity op shops stalker when it was not fashionable at all!. Being a seamstress she passed along the love of fabric and the thrill of finding beautiful quality things at great prices

Anyway we've done lots of things and we have loads to share. We've combined our loves and hobbies and we treasure hunt across continents to find distinct, wonderful and genuine vintage, things you'll look amazing in and (hopefully) love for many a moon =)
